OCIP is seeking a Coordinator to support the Indigenous Languages Revitalization Project. The
role involves reviewing CAP’s draft national strategy, engaging with community members,
Elders, and Knowledge Keepers, and preparing OCIP’s final language revitalization report.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and provide feedback on the CAP draft language strategy.
Conduct community engagement and gather regional priorities.
Participate in CAP-led meetings and engagement sessions.
Interview participants and accurately document findings.
Prepare OCIP’s Language Revitalization Report and final project summary.
Qualifications:
Experience in community engagement or Indigenous research.
Knowledge of Indigenous language issues.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience working with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, or Indigenous communities
(asset).

OCIP is seeking a Coordinator to support our work under the CAP MMIWG2S+ Action Plan.
The Coordinator will help update OCIP’s MMIWG2S+ Action Plan and Implementation Strategy,
engage with community members, and document priorities, recommendations, and tools to
measure progress. This role involves outreach, research, coordination, and preparing required
reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Update/create OCIP’s MMIWG2S+ Action Plan and Implementation Plan.
Engage with Indigenous community members living off-reserve.
Gather priorities, strategies, and lessons learned.
Interview individuals and document findings thoroughly and respectfully.
Prepare required documents and final activity report.
Attend CAP–OCIP meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience working with Indigenous communities or related issues.
Understanding of MMIWG2S+ issues and community needs.
Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently within short timelines.

OCIP is seeking a Coordinator/Researcher to support the MMIWG2S+ Safety & Wellbeing
Project. This role will help develop culturally appropriate research and data tools to monitor
progress on the 231 Calls for Justice and assess the safety and wellbeing of Indigenous
women, girls, and 2S+ people living off-reserve.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-develop research and data collection methods.
Support community engagement and gather feedback on draft tools.
Participate in CAP workshops and bi-monthly meetings.
Conduct interviews and document findings accurately and respectfully.
Assist in drafting and finalizing project documents and reports.
Qualifications:
Experience in research, community engagement, or program coordination.
Understanding of MMIWG2S+ issues.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience working with Indigenous communities (asset).
