Empowering Voices: Disability, Accessibility, and Inclusion initiative.

Interviews will help CAP better understand the everyday experiences, challenges, and strengths of off-reserve and non-status Indigenous Peoples living with disabilities or autism, as well as caregivers supporting loved ones with these conditions.

Your stories will help shape CAP’s upcoming report to the Government of Canada and contribute to two national initiatives:
The Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP): advancing accessibility and inclusion for persons with disabilities.
Canada’s Autism Strategy (NAS): improving supports and understanding for autistic people and their families.

 Interviews will take place from November 10 to December 10, 2026, and will last approximately 45–60 minutes via Zoom or another preferred method of communication.
